DAYTON – The Wright State women's soccer team tallied four goals, including three in the second half, as the Raiders rolled to a Sunday afternoon home win over Fairmont State at Alumni Field.
Wright State (1-1) now has a week off before returning to action next Sunday, August 24 at Louisville. The Raiders return home on Wednesday, August 27 when they welcome Marshall to Alumni Field. Tickets for the

The Raiders got on the board early, when
Caitlin Burger found a streaking
Ruby Dunlevy for a 13th minute goal that proved to be the lone first half tally. Three more Raiders found the back of the net over the final 45 minutes, first in the 55th minute when
Marina Ruthsatz and Dunlevy found Burger, who clipped the right post as she tucked her shot into the corner for her first goal of the season. Wright State added two more goals over a four-minute stretch later, first on
Mariella Hartmann's header off a corner kick set piece from
Ayla Washburn in the 63rd before Washburn added another assist in the 67th when she sent a pass ahead to
Addy Canter, who deposited her first goal of campaign.
Kiera Sarka earned the win in goal for the Raiders, taking care of her only chance in the first half before
Leigha Lauer played the final 45 minutes for her first collegiate action, also turning away her one shot against.
Wright State finished with 18 total shots, with six on frame, paced by three shots each from Burger, Dunlevy and Hartmann, while
Taliah Pellizzari added two shots of her own. Fairmont State finished with six total shots by six different players.
