DAYTON- The Wright State women's basketball program released its 2025-26 non-conference schedule on Wednesday afternoon.

The Raiders will tip off the regular season on the road, traveling to Indianapolis for a matinee match up with Butler on November 3. Wright State will stay on the road to open the season traveling down to the Volunteer State on November 7 to take on Tennessee State.
Wright State will then return home to the Nutter Center for a four-game home stand taking on Wilberforce (Nov. 12), Evansville (Nov. 16), Bellarmine (Nov. 19), and Indiana University East (Nov. 22).
WSU will close out November on the road, traveling to Athens to take on Ohio (Nov. 24). The Raiders will wrap up the month of November in Florida at the Thanksgiving Classic where they will take on the host, Florida Atlantic, (Nov.28) and Air Force (Nov. 29).
After a pair of Horizon League match ups Wright State will head to Buffalo, New York on December 12 to take on Canisius. The Raiders will wrap up the non-conference portion of the schedule with an SEC foe in the Kentucky Wildcats (Dec. 19).
Season tickets are on sale now for the 2025-26 season, with individual game tickets set to go on sale in October.

Butler (Nov. 3, Indianapolis, IN)
The Bulldogs went 16-18 last season, with a 5-13 mark in Big East play. After falling to St. John's in the conference tournament Butler went on to compete in the WNIT taking down UIC before falling to Purdue Fort Wayne. This will be the 48
th meeting all-time between the Raiders and Bulldogs.
Tennessee State (Nov. 7, Nashville, TN)
Tennessee State finished last season 10-21 overall and 6-14 in Ohio Valley play. This will be the fourth meeting all-time between the Raiders and Tigers; a series Wright State leads 3-0. After an almost two-decade hiatus the two teams met last year in the Nutter Center with the Raiders coming out on top 77-67.
Wilberforce (Nov. 12, Nutter Center)
Wilberforce ended their 2024-25 campaign with a 11-16 overall record and a 6-12 mark in conference play. This will be just the second ever meeting between the two teams and first meeting in 45 years. Wright State came out on top in their only other meeting 86-34 in the 1980-81 season.
Evansville (Nov. 16, Nutter Center)
The Purple Aces finished last season 7-25 overall with a 3-17 mark in conference play. Evansville holds a 6-4 lead in the all-time series over Wright State. The two squads met last season in Evansville with the Purple Aces coming out on top 65-63.
Bellarmine (Nov. 19, Nutter Center)
Bellarmine went 18-15 last season and 8-10 in the Atlantic Sun. The Knights took down Jacksonville in the first round of the conference tournament before falling the Central Arkansas in the quarterfinals. Bellarmine holds a narrow 7-5 lead in the all-time series after taking down the Raiders in Louisville last season.
Indiana University East (Nov. 22, Nutter Center)
IU East went 13-16 in 2024-25 with a 9-7 conference record. This will be the first meeting between the Raiders and Red Wolves.
Ohio (Nov. 24, Athens Ohio)
The Bobcats finished last season 6-23 overall with a 4-14 record in Mid-American Conference play. Ohio holds a 9-5 lead in the all-time series over Wright State, but the Raiders took their match up in Dayton last season 68-57.
Florida Atlantic (Nov. 28, Boca Raton, FL)
The Owls ended their 2024-25 campaign with a 11-21 overall record and 3-15 mark in American Conference play. The two teams met for the first time last season in Arizona at the GCU Christmas classic with FAU coming out on top 68-52.
Air Force (Nov. 29, Boca Raton, FL)
Air Force finished last season with a 18-15 overall record and 7-11 in the Mountain West, taking down Utah State in the opening round of the conference tournament before falling to Wyoming in the quarterfinals. This will be just the second meeting all-time between Air Force and Wright State with the Raiders winning the previous meeting 73-59 in the 1982-83 season.
Canisius (Dec. 12, Buffalo, NY)
Canisius went 10-21 overall and 9-11 in conference play last season, making it to the MAAC tournament before losing to Manhattan in the first round. 2025 will be the eighth all-time meeting between Canisius and Wright State, with the Golden Griffins holding a 5-2 lead in the series. The Raiders came out on top 57-40 when the teams last met in the 2007-08 season.
Kentucky (Dec. 19, Lexington, KY)
Kentucky ended last season with a 23-8 overall record and 11-5 in SEC play, the Wildcats fell in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament to Oklahoma. Kentucky earned a four seed in the NCAA tournament taking down Liberty in the round of 64 before coming up just short of Kansas State in the round of 32. This will be just the second all-time meeting between Kentucky and Wright Stat with the previous matchup coming in the opening round of the 2014 NCAA tournament with the Wildcats coming out on top 106-60.
