Bilo named Horizon League Pitcher of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS/DAYTON- Wright State right-hander Michael Bilo has been named the Horizon League Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Bilo was nails in relief for the Raiders in Saturday's 8-4 win over Milwaukee. The right-hander pitched three shutout innings, no-hitting Milwaukee while striking out five Panthers en route to his first save of the season.

This is the first weekly honor of the season for Bilo; he joins Chet Lax, who earned HL Pitcher of the Week honors on March 11. JP Peltier and Cy Turner have also earned weekly honors, each being named the Batter of the Week once.

Bilo and the Raiders are back at Nischwitz Stadium Tuesday evening as in-state rival Ohio State visits Dayton. First pitch is slated for 5 p.m., and the first 100 fans through the gate will receive a Wright State baseball t-shirt.
