Hollenbeck named Horizon League Golfer of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS/DAYTON – Wright State's Timmy Hollenbeck has been named the Horizon League Golfer of the Week, the League office announced on Thursday afternoon. This is his second weekly selection of the season.

Hollenbeck won the Wright State Invitational individual title for the second straight season this week while helping the Raiders to the team title in the final tuneup before the Horizon League Championship. Hollenbeck opened tournament action with a Wright State and Heatherwoode Golf Club course record low round of 61, carding 10 birdies in his first 18 holes, before finishing with at 14-under, with his 199 total score also a new Wright State 54-hole record.

Hollenbeck and Wright State now get set to head to Florida as the two-time defending Horizon League champions. Action at the 2026 Horizon League Championship gets started on April 25.
