Hollenbeck named to Horizon League All-Academic Team

DAYTON/INDIANAPOLIS – The Horizon League released its 2026 Men's Golf All-Academic Team on Monday, recognizing student-athletes for their success both in competition and in the classroom. Wright State's Timmy Hollenbeck was among the seven student-athletes who were honored in balloting by the League's faculty athletics representatives.

This is Hollenbeck's second-straight academic recognition for his work in the classroom.

Hollenbeck currently holds a season scoring average of 71.37 with eight rounds in the 60s, including a program- and course record-low round of 61 at the Wright State Invitational in April. Hollenbeck finished first at both the Wright State Invitational and the Memphis Intercollegiate this spring. His work in the classroom has earned him a spot on the Wright State University Dean's List five total times. Has appeared on each of the two Horizon League Academic Honor Rolls he has been eligible for dating back to the 2025 Spring listing.

Hollenbeck and his Raider teammates are set to compete at the NCAA Columbus Regional next week after helping Wright State capture its 10th Horizon League Championship last month.
