Green announces addition of Dickenscheidt to Volleyball staff

DAYTON – Wright State head volleyball coach Travers Green has announced the addition of Maddie Dickenscheidt to his coaching staff to join him on the Raider sidelines.

Dickenscheidt joins the Raiders following a standout career at Texas Tech. She joins the Wright State bench alongside Green and former Raiders Megan Alders and Cam Hausler.

"Maddie has been a great addition to our program," said Green. "She comes highly recommended and brings a wealth of experience from playing volleyball at a high level throughout her college career. She has a strong understanding of the game and is able to bring that experience to our gym. I'm excited about the impact she will make with our middles and blockers and the development of our players."

A four-year letterwinner at Texas Tech, Dickenscheidt appeared in 64 matches during her career, including 27 starts in 2022. She recorded 126 kills, 39 aces, 92 digs and 63 blocks as a junior, leading the Red Raiders in aces while earning Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors and Red Raider Classic All-Tournament Team recognition. In 2021, she played both middle blocker and outside hitter, totaling 32 kills and 23 blocks while helping Texas Tech upset No. 9 Baylor. As a freshman in 2020-21, Dickenscheidt appeared in 10 matches with five starts and posted a career-high 13 kills against Tarleton State. She concluded her Texas Tech career in 2023, appearing in four matches and four sets.

A standout at Cinco Ranch High School, she earned Under Armour All-American, AVCA All-Region and All-District honors. A dual-sport athlete, Dickenscheidt also played on the Cinco Ranch basketball team.
