Jordan Chiero

Jordan Chiero

Jordan Chiero enters his first season as a volunteer assistant with the Wright State baseball team in 2015.

Chiero comes to WSU from Otterbein, where he was an assistant for two seasons, coaching hitters and infielders.

Chiero was a four-year letterman at NCAA Division II Tiffin University from 2008-12, becoming a two-time All-GLIAC selection as a corner infielder. He held a perfect 1.000 fielding-percentage at first base as a senior.

Chiero ranks Top-10 all-time at Tiffin for most putouts and hits, and also shares single-game records for most home runs (3) and RBI (9).

He played professionally shortly after his time at Tiffin, spending one season with the Taos Blizzard of the Pecos League. Chiero also worked as a Hitting Coach for Ohio Elite while coaching at Otterbein.
