Jeff "Ziggy" Korytoski is in his third season as an assistant coach at Wright State. Korytoski came to WSU after one season as the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Saint Leo University in Florida.
A two-year player at Santa Rosa Junior College in California, Korytoski captained a successful team that qualified for the state tournament in back-to-back seasons and picked up All-Far West Region honors along the way. His junior season was then spent at UNC Wilmington where he played in all 21 matches.
After returning to California in 1999, Korytoski was in the 2000 U-23 Cal-North Player pool that went to the National Semifinals. Following his playing career, Korytoski served as a Sales Executive with the 2003 National Champion Wilmington Hammerheads of the Pro Select League.
Korytoski's coaching career began as an Assistant Coach at Maria Carrillo High School in California where he saw his team reach the sectional finals in 1999. In 2000, he became the head coach at Santa Rosa High School and led the team to the Final Four. In 2001, Korytoski attended Penn State University and served as the Volunteer Assistant Coach for the men's team that reach the NCAA round of 16 before losing to St. John's in overtime. That season, Korytoski also coached the Penn State Women's Club Soccer Team and led them to their first-ever National Championship.
Korytoski has spent time as a youth coach at successful clubs Santa Rosa United, AFC Lightning, and Black Watch. He also served as the Head Coach for the 1999 District V Cal-North ODP Team.
Korytoski holds both his USSF C License and NSCAA National Coaching Diploma. He graduated with an Associate of Arts degree from Santa Rosa Junior College and is currently pursuing his Bachelor's of Science in Political Science from Saint Leo University.
