Biography
2012-13: Team's top time and new school record in the 200 breast with a time of 2:02.00 at HL Meet...second top time in the 100 breast at 56.27--fifth at HL Meet...fifth top times in the 200 IM (1:53.51) and 400 IM (4:23.02)...part of the top 200 medley relay team...part of the team posting second top time in 800 free relay, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay teams.
2011-12: Posted team's best times in the 100 back (57.19) and 200 back (2:03.96).
2009-10: Qualified in the 100 and 200 yard breaststroke and the 200 yard individual medley at the Horizon League Championships...competed in the 50 yard breaststroke...also swam in the 200 yard freestyle relay and the 200 and 400 yard medley relay.
2008-09: Competed in three events at the Horizon League Championships...placed second in the 200-yard breastroke, third in the 100-yard breaststoke, and sixth in the 200-yard individual medley...posted top team times in the 1000-yard freestyle, 100-yard breastroke, 200-yard breaststroke, 200-yard butterfly, 200-yard individual medley, 400-yard individual medley, 200-yard medley relay, 400-yard medley relay, 800-yard freestyle relay.
Prep: Lettered five times for St. Benedicts...was the team MVP and team captain during his senior season...placed first during his senior season at the Gauteng Swimming A League Championships...holds a pair of individual school records and two relay school marks...also lettered in water polo and rugby.
Personal: Born Davynn Ralph Peffer on July 27, 1989...the son of Kurt and Bronwen Peffer...has one brother, Jordan.
