Devin Reed

Devin Reed is in her second season with the Wright State women’s basketball staff.  She currently serves as the Video Coordinator for the Raiders. 

Prior to Wright State, Reed was instrumental in recruiting, guard development, scouting, academics, and the budget preparation. She was the assistant coach at Salt Lake Community College.  In 2018-19, Reed helped guide the Bruins to a 25-6 overall record, SWAC regular season champion honors, Region 18 tournament champion honors and an appearance in the NJCAA National Tournament.  She also spent the 2012-2013 season at Colorado Northwestern and Moberly Community College in 2014-2015.

The program’s winning tradition mixed with amazing leadership, creates a great learning environment that I’m excited to continue my Division I journey in.”

Devin’s responsibilities include handling all film duties, monitoring academics, preparing scouting reports, assisting Kim with all operations along with numerous administrative tasks. One of the most critical is handling compliance and recruiting paperwork and film. She also serves as the staff liaison to the Marketing Department.

“I have known Devin and her family for almost 30 years. She has always been hard-working and loves basketball. Devin brings a wide range of experience, skills, and talents to our program and she is a perfect person to relate to our young ladies. She has a bright future ahead of her.”

The Indianapolis, IN native played her prep ball at powerhouse Lawrence North HS where she recorded 52 points in a single game. Her college career included stops at Valparaiso University, Cowley Community College, and concluded at the University of Texas-Pan American. During her time at Valpo she played in the first NCAA tournament game in school history

Devin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications in 2006 and is currently enrolled in Wright State’s Sports Management graduate program.
