
Men Roll to 60-42 Win Over Central Michigan

Down 10-3 early, Wright State took the lead for good with a 15-1 run late in the first half and went on to a 60-42 win over Central Michigan Thursday night at WSU's Nutter Center.
The Chippewas jumped out to a quick 7-1 lead and went up 10-3 on an Austin Keel layup with 13:42 remaining in the first half, only to see the Raiders answer with seven straight to tie the game, five of those coming from Vance Hall.
The CMU margin was two at 19-17 before WSU went on its decisive 15-1 run, a run that featured three-pointers from Cole Darling, Reggie Arceneaux and John Balwigaire.
Wright State led 32-23 at the break as the Raiders shot 48 percent in the opening 20 minutes, including five of 10 from behind the arc, while Central Michigan shot 36 percent and was two of seven from three.
The Chippewas would get no closer than seven the rest of the way as WSU used a 16-3 run to go up 54-33 with 7:39 to play and led by as much as 22 at 57-35 at the 4:47 mark.
The Raiders shot 46 percent on the night, including nine of 22 from three, while Central Michigan finished at 35 percent and was just three of 17 from three. WSU also led 26-8 in points off of turnovers as they forced 18 while committing 14.
Hall led Wright State with 13 points off the bench while Julius Mays had 12 points and six assists and Arceneaux added 11 points and five assists.
Derek Jackson paced Central Michigan (5-8) with 13 points.
Wright State (6-8) resumes Horizon League play next week with a trip to Chicago, taking on Loyola on Thursday, December 29, at 8:00 Eastern followed by UIC on Saturday, December 31, at 2:00 Dayton time.
