Baseball Drops Regular Season Finale at Milwaukee

The Wright State baseball team fell behind 8-0 early and could not recover in falling 9-3 to Milwaukee in the regular season finale for both teams Saturday at Henry Aaron Field.
Milwaukee scored five runs in the second and added three more in the third in building an 8-0 advantage.
The Raiders tallied a run in the fourth on a Garrett Gray sacrifice fly, another in the eighth as Tristan Moore singled in Jake Hibberd, who had three hits on the day, and their final run in the ninth on a Corey Davis RBI single.
Wright State (36-19, 20-10 Horizon) will be the #2 seed for next week's Horizon League Tournament, which begins Wednesday at Les Miller Field on the UIC campus. The Raiders open tournament play on Thursday at 4:00 Eastern against the higher seed of Wednesday's two winners, which will either be Milwaukee, UIC or Butler.
