The Wright State baseball team scored a run in the first, but it was all Kentucky the rest of the way as the Wildcats tallied two runs in the first, third and fourth en route to a 7-1 decision Tuesday in Lexington.
The Raiders picked up a run without the benefit of a hit in the first. Kieston Greene led off with a walk and went to second on a balk. After advancing to third on a Michael Timm ground out, Greene scored on the second balk of the inning against the Wildcats.
Kentucky, though, took the lead for good with two runs in the bottom of the first and expanded on the lead with two more in the third and fourth to go up 6-1.
Wright State (2-5) heads west this weekend for a four-game series at #3 Oregon State, starting with a single game on Friday at 8:05 Eastern.
