The Wright State golf team is sixth after the opening round of the Horizon League Championships Friday at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.

Cody Nickson led the Raiders with a 77 and is tied for 13th overall while Ryan Wenzler shot a 78 and is tied for 18th.

The second round is set to start at 7:30 Saturday morning.
