Raiders Invite Fans to a Free Game

Education Day is Free to All Thursday at 11 am
The Wright State women's basketball team will host a free game for all on Basketball Education Day that will include nearly 1,000 local elementary students Thursday at 11 am against Cincinnati Christian.

Basketball Education Day is a free day of fun for elementary school kids and fans of all ages in the Dayton area to come out and enjoy a great game of basketball while learning health and fitness tips that they can utilize through on-court speakers, videoboard presentations and more.
Wright State
The Raiders, 7-2, are riding a four-game winning streak after winning at Kent State last Thursday night 72-60. Senior Chelsea Welch continues to play well, averaging 20.9 points and 5.0 rebounds. Three other Raider starters average double-figure scoring in Mackenzie Taylor (12.8), Emily Vogelpohl (11.0) and Symone Simmons (10.4). The fifth starter, Lexi Smith, sits at 9.8 points per game and 8.9 rebounds per game.Â
Cincinnati Christian
The Eagles, 1-9, hold a win over conference-foe Asbury in early December. Three Eagles hold double-figure scoring averages: Baylee Wallace (13.7), Kamilylah Bomar (13.4) and Bryanna Bransford (10.2). Against common-opponent Northwestern Ohio, CCU lost 70-67 as the Raiders won 106-52.
