Raiders win 72-60
The Wright State women's basketball team defeated Kent State on the road Thursday night 72-60. WSU is now 7-2.
Game Breakdown
First Quarter (26-17)
   *Senior Chelsea Welch leads the way with 14 points.
   *Symone Simmons had three rebounds.
   *WSU shot 50% (10-20) from the field and 57% (4-7) from three.
   *Two steals and two assists from Mackenzie Taylor.
Second Quarter (38-28)
   *WSU won the quarter 12-11
   *Welch added four more for 18 in the first half.
   *WSU made only five of 16 in the second period and 0-5 from three.
   *Lexi Smith had six points and three rebounds at half.
   *The Raiders forced 12 turnovers on four steals and four blocks.
Third Quarter (54-40)
   *Kent Stated outscored the Raiders 20-18.
   *Welch added eight points for 24.
   *Taylor had six points off two threes.

   *Welch and Taylor had five assists.
