The Wright State men's soccer team scored the lone goal early in the second half for the 1-0 win at Duquesne Tuesday night.
First Half Highlights
The Raiders kept the pressure on the Dukes, posting eight shots with three on goal but were unable through.Â
Joseph Grimes led WSU with two shots and one on goal as six other Raiders registered one shot each. Duquesne managed only two shots in the first 45.
Second Half Highlights
The Raiders dented the back of the net at 53:08 when
Austin Kinley picked up his first goal of the season assisted by
Florian Hoffmann and
Dan Bent. Wright State ended with 16 shots overall, two from Grimes,
Jalim Bayo,
Stefan Rokvic and
Alec Philippe. WSU goalie
Joel Sundell finished with one save as the Dukes (1-4) had seven shots overall.
Next Up
The Raiders (3-2-1, 1-0) will play at Horizon League foe UIC Saturday night at 8 pm.
