#16 @WSU_Mens_Soccer Rounds Out Non-Conference Schedule with Win Tuesday

The 16th ranked Wright State Raiders men's soccer team was in action again Tuesday night, as the green and gold competed in their final non-conference match of the season against the Marshall Thundering Herd in Huntington, West Virginia.

First Half
While the Thundering Herd led the first frame in shots at 8-5, the Raiders opened the scoring in the first frame when Deri Corfe scored his eighth of the season in the 28th minute off a Harvey Slade assist, putting the Raiders up one. Joel Sundell recorded two saves in the first frame, keeping the Thundering Herd off the scoreboard and giving his team a 1-0 advantage heading into the locker room.

Second Half
Marshall continued to press in the offensive end, and were able to get a goal past Sundell to even the match in the 71st minute. The Raiders did not wait long to get themselves back on top in the match, as Jackson Dietrich's fourth goal of the season gave Wright State the 2-1 lead. Brayden McNitt added an insurance goal in the 86th minute, his first of the season, to ensure the victory for the Raiders by a final score of 3-1.
