Baseball Defeats Hartford

The Wright State baseball team used a balanced attack to beat Hartford 11-2 Saturday afternoon at University of Dayton's field.

The Raiders scored twice in the second, third, fifth, seventh and three in the eighth for the win.  Gabe Snyder had three doubles, four RBI and two runs while Damon Dues had a double, single and two runs and Peyton Burdick had a double, a single, three runs and an RBI.  Seth Gray added a double with three RBI.  Quincy Hamilton ended with a triple, an RBI and three runs as JD Orr had a single, an RBI and a run.  Chase Slone added a hit as well.

Ryan Weiss took the win on the mound, pitching six inning and giving up two runs with four strikeouts.  Jason Foster pitched the final three for the save, allowing one hit.
