Biography

2018:  Appeared in 55 games with 54 starts…hit .280 with 58 hits, 33 runs and 47 RBI…three homeruns, one triple and eight doubles…17 walks…named to the Horizon League First Team…named to the Horizon League All-Tournament Team.

Notes:  Attended Siegel High School and Dyersburg State Community College in Tennessee...majoring in organizational leadership...coached by Robert White...in 2015, he attended Southern Illinois where he hit .270, leading the team with 64 hits while starting all 58 games at short...pre-season Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Year...college summer team, the Fulton Railroaders, he hit .325 to lead the team with 51 hits and 13 doubles, being named to the All-Star Game...in 2017 at Dyersburg, he hit .402 and led the team with 76 hits and 10 doubles and added a 2-0 pitching record...team advanced to first-ever JUCO World Series...twice first-team All District in high school...2014 travel team, Knights, won WWBA National title with record of 55-5...son of Tracy and Tracy Slone.
