@WSUBaseball Travels to #29 Louisville

The Wright State baseball, winners of seven of the last eight games, will play at #29 Louisville Tuesday at 6 pm. The game will be shown on the ESPN Watch app. 
 
The first-place Raiders, 31-14 and 18-6, won two of three games over the weekend against the second-place UIC Flames. Chase Slone led the way with a .438 batting average in four games last week, including nine RBI and a .750 slugging percentage. On the season, Gabe Snyder and Peyton Burdick are both hitting .350 in 45 games as Snyder leads the team with 59 RBI and 14 home runs. Zane Harris is hitting .348. Pitcher Ryan Weiss picked up his eighth win last Friday over the Flames, striking out 10 in eight innings. Daniel Kreuzer and Zane Collins are each 5-1 on the season as Derek Hendrixson has eight saves. 
 
LOUISVILLE CARDINALS 
 
Louisville, 32-15 and 12-12 in the ACC, have won three of their last four games, including a victory over #15 Vanderbilt 8-4 last week. The Cardinals, ranked 29th in the latest Collegiate Baseball poll, have been led by Logan Wyatt, hitting .327 with 20 doubles and 45 RBI while Danny Oriente is hitting .354 in 38 games. Louisville leads the overall meetings 8-7 as the Cardinals won two games with the Raiders in 2016, including once in the NCAA Regional.

The Raiders will play three games in Milwaukee over the weekend: Friday and Sunday at Henry Aaron Field and Saturday at Miller Park.
