The Wright State men's soccer team jumped out to an early lead on Saturday night, but visiting Northern Kentucky scored a pair of second half goals to hand the Raiders a 2-1 Horizon League loss at Alumni Field.
The loss drops Wright State to 5-3 on the season and 1-1 in HL play, while Northern Kentucky improves to 2-5-1 and 1-2 in conference action.
Stefan Rokvic put the Raiders on the board right out of the gates with his goal 1:27 into the match, and that score remained intact through the remainder of the opening 45 minutes. Northern Kentucky tied the game up in the 49
th minute on a goal from Stian Jørgensen before Alex Greive gave the Norse the lead in the 77
th minute that the visitors would make hold up.
