The Wright State golf team sits in second place as a team following the first day of action at the Seahawk Intercollegiate, carding an 11-under team score heading into Tuesday's final round. Individually, Cameron Willis is tied for seventh and is three-under.

The Raiders were one of five teams to finish Monday with an under-par team score following the first two rounds, while Wright State trails only tournament host UNC Wilmington (-23) on the team leaderboard and has a six shot lead over third-place James Madison leading into the final 18 holes.

After a four-over opening 18 holes, Willis turned in a seven-under 65 in round two to jump up the leaderboard behind seven birdies and a bogey-free second round. Tyler Goecke is tied for 11th and is two-under overall after rounds of 70 and 72, while Austin Schoonmaker is one shot back and tied for 17th at one-under. Mikkael Mathiesen and Bryce Haney are each one-over and tied for 27th, with Davis Root (eight-over, 48th) rounding out the Raider lineup.
