On Friday, Robert Morris (9-20, 2-15 Horizon) battled tough early before the Raiders took the opening set 25-22, then Wright State followed that up with set scores of 25-12 and 25-17 to complete the sweep.

Eight different Raiders recorded kills as 12 players saw action, with seven kills each from Sam Ott and Seiler Hruska to pace the offense. Megan Alders added six kills while three Raiders – Taylor Bransfield, Aaliyah Byers and Callie Martin – all finished with five kills. Elena Dubuc recorded four kills in the third set for the Raiders as well.

Katie Meyer passed out 30 of Wright State's 37 assists, while Jenna Story (16) and Callie Martin (13) both had double-digit digs.

SET ONE
The most competitive of the night, neither side could gain any separation, with Robert Morris taking the lead at 17-16. The Raiders scored three of the next four points to push ahead 20-17 behind kills from Byers and Martin, only to have RMU take the lead again at 21-20 with a three-point run. Four straight points from Wright State thanks to kills from Bransfield and Ott and a pair of RMU errors pushed them to set point, where a service error moments later gave the Raiders the opening set.

SET TWO
Wright State scored the first six points and 10 of the first 12 points overall to take control and never looked back. The Raiders pushed the advantage to 21-9 behind a Hruska kill before ending the set with a final 3-0 run with kills from Byers and Ott.

SET THREE
The Raiders used a pair of early three-point runs to gain separation before Robert Morris pulled back into the set at 11-9. A 5-1 Wright State run thanks in part to four RMU attacking errors pushed the Raiders to 23-14 and the Raiders ended it moments later with another RMU error and a final kill from Elena Dubuc.
