Final regular season weekend for Volleyball, Senior Night Friday

DAYTON — The Wright State volleyball team wraps up its regular season home schedule with a pair of matches inside McLin Gymnasium this weekend, hosting IUPUI on Friday for Senior Night before a Saturday matchup with Purdue Fort Wayne. Friday action will get underway at 6 p.m. with senior ceremonies postgame, while Saturday will be a 4 p.m. start. Friday's match is expected to be streamed on ESPN+.

LAST TIME OUT
Wright State came back to win the final two sets on Tuesday night for a five-set victory over Northern Kentucky as the Raiders won their 17th consecutive game to set a new program record. The Raiders were led by Megan Alders and Taylor Bransfield, who each finished with a match-high 16 kills, while receiving double-doubles from Callie Martin (12 kills, 17 digs) and Katie Meyer (50 assists, 21 digs). Sam Ott just missed a double-double of her own, tallying nine kills with 16 digs. Jenna Story collected 20 digs while adding three service aces.
RECENT SERIES HISTORY
Wright State has won a combined 15 straight matches against this weekend's two opponents. The Raiders have won six in a row against Purdue Fort Wayne going back to a 2015 neutral site matchup as non-conference opponents, while Wright State has won nine in a row against IUPUI after dropping the first two meetings as Horizon League foes back in 2017.

Meyer has recorded assist totals of 50 (Nov. 1, NKU) and 52, her career-best, from back on September 3 in a win over Indiana State this season.
TAYLOR-MADE
Taylor Bransfield was named the Horizon League Player of the Week on Nov. 2 after a career week, notching a career-high 19 kills against Green Bay as she tallied 24.5 points, also a career-best, as she narrowly missed a double-double with her career-high nine blocks. Bransfield followed up that effort with a match-high 11 kills in a sweep of Milwaukee before leading the Raiders to a five-set win on Nov. 1 against Northern Kentucky with a match-best 16 kills.
