DAYTON — Season tickets for the 2022 Wright State baseball season are now on sale as of Wednesday, February 23.Â
Season tickets at $50 per seat are purchasable by clicking HERE. Those who have purchased the Raider Pass can access season tickets via WSU Account Manager. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach the ticket office at 937-775-4934 or raidertix@wright.edu.Â
Baseball's 2022 campaign features 20 games at Nischwitz Stadium, including Horizon League series against Oakland, UIC, and Youngstown State. The Raiders welcome Dayton for their home opener on March 8, which kicks off an eight-game homestand. WSU will also host Indiana State from March 11-13, a team that advanced to the NCAA Nashville Regional last season.Â
A season ago, Wright State went 21-1 (.954) at Nischwitz Stadium, good for the highest home winning percentage in NCAA Division I. The Raiders were one of just eight D1 programs in the country to finish the year with a home winning streak of nine or more games. Since 2014, WSU has boasted a combined record of 146-26 (.848) at home.Â
The Raiders are coming off a 35-13 campaign in 2021, winning the Horizon League regular season and tournament championships en route to a berth in the Knoxville Regional. WSU's 28 Horizon League wins reset the standard for the most conference wins all-time in single-season Raider history, while the Knoxville Regional appearance marked their fourth regional appearance in the past six seasons. Wright State also led the NCAA in batting average (.339), on-base percentage (.447), slugging (.579), runs per game (10.5), and doubles per game (2.71).Â
