DAYTON — The Wright State women's basketball program continues its Horizon League schedule with home contests against Green Bay (Jan. 5) and Milwaukee (Jan. 7) inside the Nutter Center. Both games will broadcast live on ESPN+, while live stats will also be available.

The Raiders dropped to 1-13 overall and 0-4 against Horizon League competition after an 85-69 loss at IUPUI on New Year's Day. WSU recorded its third-highest point total of the season but allowed the Jaguars to shoot 53.3% (32-of-60) from the field, which included nine 3-pointers on 23 tries.
Bryce Nixon finished with a team-high 19 points for her fifth consecutive double-figure scoring performance. Kacee Baumhower poured in a career-best 17 points on 5-of-9 shooting and a 5-of-7 clip at the charity stripe, while Emily Chapman totaled 11 points and a season-high four steals. Taylor Johnson-Matthews added six points and four rebounds off the bench. In total, Wright State's bench outscored IUPUI 27-13.

The senior guard has knocked down a team-leading 34 threes, averaging 2.43 per game. Nixon leads the team in scoring (12.4 ppg), highlighted by a 20-point performance at Eastern Illinois (11/28) and a career-best 24 points versus Southern Indiana (12/17). She has scored in double figures in a team-best 10 games, including five consecutive times entering Thursday's matchup.
