Men's Basketball set for meeting with regional foe Miami (OH)

DAYTON - The Wright State men's basketball team continues welcomes regional foe Miami (OH) for a 7 p.m. Tuesday contest as the Raiders begin a two-game week inside the Nutter Center before heading into the holiday break. Fans can follow the action several ways - via live stats, by watching on ESPN+ or by tuning in to the new home for Raider Basketball 101.5 HANK FM and WING 1410 AM. Chris Collins and Jim Brown will have all the play-by-play on the both the ESPN and radio feeds.
Fans can tune into 101.5 HANK FM live over the air in the Dayton metro area, as well stream the station live nationwide through a variety of free streaming apps. The iHeartRadio app, the TuneIn Radio app and the Audacy app are all FREE and each carry 101.5 HANK FM. Just search "101.5 HANK FM" on any of the three apps for Raider Basketball.Â
**Wright State has launched the Wright State Raiders app, allowing fans to stay up to date on Raider Basketball and all other sports. Fans are encouraged to use the Wright State Raiders app as the primary method for managing their digital tickets, which are required for entry to all WSU basketball events. Tickets for the 2023-24 basketball seasons are now uploaded and accessible on all purchaser accounts. Three players scored in double figures Tuesday night, led by Trey Calvin's game-high 34 points, but Wright State fell 91-84 to visiting Western Kentucky inside the Nutter Center. Calvin and Tanner Holden each had 14 points at the halftime break, with Calvin notching 20 in the second half as he finished the night 14-of-25 shooting with five steals, four assists and two rebounds in 38 minutes of action. Holden finished with 18 points and was 6-of-15 from the floor with four rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block as he and Alex Huibregtse logged 36 minutes. Huibregtse was the final Raider in double figures, finishing with 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting while grabbing four rebounds.

Wright State is set to square off with Miami for the 39th time in program history on Tuesday, with the Raiders having won the last four meetings, including an 88-80 victory at Miami last December. The regional foes have squared off in 23 of the last 24 seasons, with the only outlier coming in the 2021 campaign. The Raiders were paced by 27 points from Trey Calvin in last year's road win, while Wright State received 11 points each from Alex Huibregtse and Brandon Noel. Calvin finished the night shooting 10-of-13 from the floor with a pair of three-pointers, while he completed his stat line with seven assists, two steals and a block. Noel added seven rebounds to his 11-point night, while Huibregtse connected on a pair of three-pointers on the way to his 11 points. AJ Braun and Andrew Welage each added eight points in the win.
