
Four Raiders under par through 36 holes in Georgia

ST SIMONS ISLAND, GA – The Wright State golf team is 20-under through 36 holes in second place after two rounds at the Sea Palms Invitational, while four Raiders are all under par individually heading into Saturday's final round.
Wright State was seven-under on Friday with a 277 and will begin the final round seven shots back of tournament team leader Davidson, who is 27-under. The Raiders and Davidson opened the second round tied atop the leaderboard but Davidson created the small separation with a 14-under Friday team round. Final round action tees off at 7:10 a.m. in Georgia.

Mikkel Mathiesen is in third place individually at nine-under, one shot back of the co-leaders, entering the final round after his three-under 68 on Friday that saw him card four birdies and a lone bogey. Three Raiders are just behind him bunched together, with Tyler Goecke tied for 11th at four-under overall after an even par round of 71. Davis Root jumped up 17 spots on the individual leaderboard with his two-under 69 as he's tied for 14th heading into the final 18 holes, while Andrew Flynn carded an even par 71 of his own to remain at two-under overall and tied for 21st.
Cole Corder shot a two-under 69 on Friday and is now three-over for the tournament in a tie for 58th after a four birdie round, while Adam Horn, playing as an individual, is tied for 96th at 10-over after an eight-over 79 on Friday.
Wright State continued to do most of its damage on par fives, as the Raiders collectively are now 17-under on par fives through 36 holes, the third-best mark in the field behind Davidson and Western Kentucky (tied for sixth).
