DAYTON – The Wright State volleyball team opened weekend action with a three-set sweep over visiting Cleveland State on Friday night inside McLin Gymnasium as
Sam Ott reached the 1,000-kill mark in the second set of the win as she led all players with 15 kills.
Wright State (12-3, 4-0 Horizon) will now reset and take on Cleveland State (11-4, 2-2 Horizon) on Saturday afternoon in a 2 p.m. start on Alumni Day inside McLin, where former Raiders will be honored before and during the match.

The Raiders finished the sweep hitting a collective .244, taking the opening set 25-17 before back-to-back 25-22 set wins to close the night as they held Cleveland State to just a .150 hitting mark.
Ott, a graduate student from Parma, Ohio, tallied her milestone kill early in the second set on her eighth kill of the night on the way to her match-high 15.
Reilly Zegunis also notched double digit kills with 11 as she added a pair of blocks, while
Elena Dubuc finished with two blocks of her own to go along with seven kills and
Haley Robinson led the Raider net work with three blocks, chipping in four kills.
Lauren Yacobucci passed out 40 of the Raiders' 47 assists, while
Jenny Wessling's 19 digs led all players and
Katie Sowko (12) and
Jenny Morey (11) collected double-digit digs as well.
