DAYTON – The Wright State volleyball team opened weekend action with a quick sweep over visiting Robert Morris on Friday night as the Raiders hit .371 as a group in the win inside McLin Gymnasium.
Wright State (20-4, 12-1 Horizon) will look to close out the weekend on Saturday and complete a three-win week when the Raiders and Robert Morris (9-15, 4-9 Horizon) meet at 2 p.m. inside McLin.

The Raiders opened the night with a .371 first set hitting mark on the way to a 25-12 set win, following that up with a 25-11 second set that saw them it .406 before ending the night with a 25-15 third set as they hit .333 to finish the sweep with 43 kills against just seven errors on the way to the .371 overall hitting percentage, their third-best mark of the season.
RMU totaled 22 kills against 19 errors over the three sets, finishing the night hitting .032 as a group.
Wright State was led by
Sam Ott's match-high 11 kills as she added seven digs, three blocks and a service ace, while
Mya Ayro and
Haley Robinson both notched nine kills, with Robinson finishing the night with seven blocks.
Lauren Yacobucci collected her 10th double-double of the season, passing out 32 of the Raiders' 38 assists while adding 10 digs.
Jenny Wessling finished with a match-best 16 digs, while
Jenny Morey turned in three of Wright State's eight service aces.
