LAREDO, TX – The Wright State men's golf team has work to do in the final round after the Raiders sit in a tie for 11th after the opening two rounds of the Border Olympics on Monday to begin the spring schedule.
Tuesday's final round will begin at 8 a.m. CT from Laredo Country Club.

Wright State opened with a team 291 before closing the afternoon with a 289 second round. Individually,
Mikkel Mathiesen leads the Raiders through two rounds in a tie for 20th, opening with a two-over 74 before bouncing back with a four-under 68. He had just one birdie over his opening 18 holes but then notched five birdies in his second round, including three straight from holes 16-18.
Shane Ochs is one shot back in a tie for 24th following rounds of 70 (-2) and 73 (+1), balancing six birdies with a pair of bogeys and a double bogey in his first round before four birdies mixed with three bogeys and a double bogey over his second 18 holes.
Andrew Flynn tallied rounds of 73 (+1) and 74 (+2) to sit tied for 50th, with the highlight of his day being an eagle two on the par four 10th hole in his second round, while
Adam Horn is a shot behind him tied for 61st following a pair of two-over 74 rounds with six total birdies.
Brock Rumpke (t81) carded a pair of four-over rounds of 76.
