In the morning matchup against Xavier (0-3), Mya Ayro led the charge with 15 kills, including 12 through two sets, as Sam Ott finished with 11 kills and Reilly Zegunis tallied 10 kills. Xavier finished the morning with just 26 total team kills and a .102 overall hitting percentage. The Raiders rolled through the opening set (25-14) thanks to a .448 team hitting percentage in the set before back-to-back 25-23 set scores, with Wright State recording the final five points of the third set to comeback to grab the set and finish off the sweep.

Ott added eight digs to her 11 kills, joining Katie Sowko and Lauren Yacobucci with eight digs of their own, while Jenny Wessling had a match-high 12 digs. Yacobucci passed out 32 of the Raiders' 40 assists as nine players recorded a kill in the sweep.

SET ONE
Wright State opened the morning with the first four points and later used a seven-point run, led by three Zegunis kills, to take a 17-5 advantage. Xavier tried to pull its way back into the set, only getting to as close as nine points late, before an Ayro kill and a Xavier error gave the Raiders the opening set.

SET TWO
Xavier had the early advantage with the first three points and a 7-4 lead before the Raiders used three kills from Ayro to take a 10-9 advantage. Back-and-forth from there and eventually tied at 20, Wright Sate gained the advantage on a Xavier error, a kill from Taylor Bransfield and an ace from Andrea Bortulin. After Xavier fought back to tie the set at 23, the Ott connected on back-to-back kills to give the Raiders the set.

SET THREE
Back-and-forth like the second set, neither team was able to push their advantage to more than three points throughout the set, with Xavier tallying three-straight kills to lead 22-19 late. A Xavier service error stopped the momentum momentarily before the Musketeers came right back with another kill and led 23-20. From there, the Raiders went to work, first with a Yacobucci dump kill to get the momentum back before an Ott kill and back-to-back Zegunis kills to push Wright State to match point, where Xavier's final attack attempt sailed long to give the Raiders the sweep.
