Track & Field set for Friday action in Louisville

DAYTON – The Wright State track and field program returns to action on Friday in Louisville, as the Raiders take part in the Bellarmine Classic.

Fans can keep up with live results here. Action is set to get underway with field events at 9:45 a.m., with track action kicking off at 10 a.m. before competition continues into the evening.

Wright State will be joined by 18 other schools in competition. In addition to host Bellarmine, Ball State, Dayton, Eastern Kentucky, Evansville, Morehead State, Northern Kentucky, Southern Indiana, Western Kentucky, Xavier, Campbellsville, University of the Cumberlands, Hanover, Midway, Spalding, Transylvania, Illinois Springfield and Vincennes will all see student-athletes in various events.

The Raiders will see 22 student-athletes competing on the men's side of the action, while the Wright State women will have 24 competitors.

Following Friday's action, Wright State will find themselves much closer to home in February, with three events at Wittenberg University's Steemer Center in the month, beginning next week on February 1 with the Steemer Showcase.
