LAST TIME OUT
Wright State turned in a pair of home wins last weekend over Youngstown State, taking down the Penguins in three sets on Friday before a Saturday five set victory. Friday saw Reilly Zegunis turn in a match-best 11 kills and 10 kills each from Mya Ayro and Katie Sowko as the Raiders finished the night hitting .303 as a group with 44 kills. On Saturday, Katie Sowko notched another double-double to pace the offensive attack, finishing with 19 kills and 17 digs, while Mya Ayro (17) and Elena Dubuc (11) also tallied double figure kills. Sowko also added three of Wright State's four service aces, adding four blocks as Taylor Bransfield finished with a match-best five blocks.

RUN IT BACK
Wright State and Milwaukee split their meetings in 2024 in Milwaukee, with both matches going five sets. The sides have met 71 times in a series that dates back to 1980.

THROWBACK BLEMISH
The Raiders have won five of the last six Horizon League regular season titles dating back to the 2019 season, hosting the Horizon League Championship in McLin Gymnasium in each of those five seasons. The one 'off' year was the 2021 campaign that saw Milwaukee win the HL regular season title and tournament hosting duties. Wright State gets a bit of a reprieve for not winning in the fall of 2021 - the Raiders were coming off a perfect 14-0 HL record in the COVID-altered spring 2021 season.

KNOW THE FOE
- Milwaukee is 7-9 overall and 3-4 in Horizon League play, coming to town losers of its last four contests after opening HL action with three straight wins, all sweeps, over Oakland and Green Bay.
- Milwaukee has recorded all three of its wins at home in the Klotsche Center and begins the weekend 0-7 in true road contests after an 0-4 mark in neutral matches during the non-conference slate.

HORIZON LEAGUE CHECK IN
With one month left in the regular season, Wright State is currently tied atop the Horizon League standings with Northern Kentucky, as both begin the weekend 6-1. Three teams - IU Indy, Green Bay and Oakland - are all 5-2. Wright State defeated IU Indy twice and travels to Green Bay next week. The Raiders close the regular season hosting Oakland.
