Raiders Take Down Milwaukee 4-2 on Senior Day

DAYTON- The Wright State men's soccer team got a big 4-2 win over Milwaukee Saturday afternoon at Alumni Field.

Wright State (2-10-1, 2-4 HL) will hit the road next weekend and travel north to face off against Green Bay. First touch in Green Bay is slated for 4 p.m.

The afternoon started with a pregame ceremony to honor the 2025 Wright State men's soccer senior class.

The Raiders got on the scoreboard early, netting their first goal in the 10th minute. Roman Kedley got the ball off a rebounded save and played a pass out wide to Henry Hutchinson, who played the ball to Marco Odorcic, who sent a first-time shot into the bottom left corner of the net. The goal is Ordorcic's first of the season and first in the match.

Milwaukee would score the equalizer just before halftime, scoring in the 38th minute. Mitch Goodman stood over a corner kick and sent a cross into the box that found the head of Ryan Berghauer, who redirected it into the back of the net.

The Panthers came out of the halftime break hot and scored just three minutes into the second half. Mitch Goodman played a long pass up to Dominic Zuniga, who played a low cross to Daiki Kumakawa to put Milwaukee up 2-1.

Oneil Mitchell would bring the game level in the 66th minute with his third goal of the season. Uleto Fuentes sent a corner kick into the box that found the head of an unmarked Mitchell, who sent his header past the Panthers' goalie.

Odorcic would score the eventual game winner in the 73rd minute. Ishmael Mensah got the ball on a sloppy Milwaukee clearance, played a pass to Ordorcic, who sent another first-time shot into the bottom corner of the net.

The Raiders would get a goal of insurance in the 85th minute. Edwin Espinal-Elvir chipped a cross to the back post that found the head of Keiji Nakazawa for an easy finish.

In the box score, Wright State led Milwaukee in shots (13-7), tied in shots on goal (5-5), and trailed in corner kick opportunities (4-5).
