EVANSVILLE, IN – The Wright State men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up their 2025 seasons on Friday afternoon in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional at Angel Mounds Cross Country Course in Evansville, Indiana, with the Raider men finishing 26th and the Wright State women finishing 31st.
Alex McCarty paced the Raider men, finishing 84th with his time of 32:19.78 in the men's 10,000-meter run, followed by
Michael Gale in 102nd (32:34.75) and
Evan McPherson in 139th (33:16.32). Wright State also saw
Patrick Statzer (144, 33:22.20),
Eric Dando (159, 33:47.92),
Blake Rodgers (175, 34:07.91) and
Emmitt Slabach (193, 35:01.59) compete in the men's race.
Kaitlyn Miller led the Wright State women, turning in a time of 22:40.36 to finish 142nd in the women's 6,000-meter run, followed by
Samantha Seas at 170th with her 23:14.29 mark and
Kaitlin Thomas in 184th with a 23:37.45 time. The Raiders also saw
Alexa Magoteaux (195, 23:49.39),
Sydney Thompson (202, 23:58.24),
Elle Lambert (209, 24:14.96) and
Reece Barnitz (211, 24:30.37) compete in the women's race.
