INDIANAPOLIS/DAYTON — Four Wright State cross country runners have swept the weekly Horizon League honors, the League announced on Tuesday. Samantha Seas was the HL Women's Runner of the Week and Alexa West was the HL Women's Freshman of the Week, while Nathan Sheriff was Men's Runner of the Week and Santino Diligente was the HL Men's Freshman of the Week.
 
Seas finished seventh among 32 runners at the Wild Bill Invite last Friday, running a personal best time of 18:45.7 in the 5,000-meter race, while West was 17th at the Wild Bill, turning in a personal best of her own with a 19:34.5 mark. Sheriff was ninth among the 39 men's runners at the Wild Bill, running a season-best 26:22.7 time in the 8,000-meter race, with Diligente finishing ninth overall with his 26:59.6 finishing mark.
 
Wright State now gets set to travel to the Horizon League Cross Country Championships on Saturday, hosted by Purdue Fort Wayne at the Mastodon Cross Country Course. The men's 8K championship will go off at 11 a.m. ET, followed by the women's 6K championship race with a 12 p.m. ET start.
