DAYTON - The Wright State men's basketball team tips off regular season action at home inside the Nutter Center for the first time in 2025-26 on Monday night, as the Raiders welcome Franklin to town regular season and home opener. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m., and fans can follow the action several ways - watching on ESPN+, via live stats or by tuning in to the Wright State Radio Network - 101.5 FM 'The Fridge' and WING 1410 AM. Chris Collins and Jim Brown will have all the play-by-play on the radio television feeds.

LAST TIME OUT 
Wright State grabbed a 63-57 exhibition win over Ohio back on October 20 as part of the CareSource Invitational-Dayton. 
Michael Cooper finished with a game-high 16 points and 
Solomon Callaghan added 14, including a dagger three-pointer in the final minute. In total, 11 different Raiders saw action on the floor as Wright State prevailed despite shooting just 36.7 percent overall as a group while getting scoring contributions from nine different players. Nine different Raiders all had multiple rebounds as Wright State grabbed 40 rebounds as a group and committed just 11 turnovers.
OPENING MINUTES
Wright State opens the new season at home for the first time since kicking off the 2022-23 season with a double overtime loss to Davidson inside the Nutter Center. Prior to the last couple of years, the Raiders had a stretch of five straight seasons where they began the year at home. In the last 10 years, Wright State is 6-4 in home openers and is 5-5 overall in the opening game of the new campaign. 
READY FOR THE LONG FLIGHT
Following Monday's opener, Wright State will hit the road on a cross-country trip and their first-ever matchup with California for a Thursday meeting. The trip will be Wright State's first visit to the state of California since the Raiders' 2022 NCAA Tournament, while the last time the Raiders played on the West Coast during the regular season was a trip to Seattle in 2009 for the Athletes in Action Classic.
FRANKLIN FACTS

Franklin ended 2024-25 with a 22-8 overall record and won the Heartland tournament title, advancing to the NCAA Division III Sweet 16 before falling to Washington University in St. Louis in the national tournament.

Franklin was 9-3 at home last season with a 10-4 mark in true road games to go along with a 3-1 mark in neutral contests.
SHORT (AND OLD) HISTORY
Wright State and Franklin have met eight times previously, with the Raiders winning all eight times. The first matchup came in February 1974 and the most recent meeting was in January 1985. That first 1974 meeting was on the road at Franklin, but the Raiders served as host of six of the next seven meetings during their NCAA Division II days.
BUSY NOVEMBER
Wright State is set for eight contests in the month of November, with three games coming at home (Franklin, Toledo, Ohio Wesleyan). The Raiders will trek to the state of California and Florida during the month as well, along with MTE action in West Virginia and a quick trip to take on former Horizon League foe Butler.

Logan Woods started 25 games in 2024-25 while shooting 48 percent overall, while 
Michael Imariagbe (18 starts, 64 percent shooting) and 
Solomon Callaghan (11 starts, 41 percent shooting) also had double-digit starts and shot over 40 percent from the floor and 
Andrea Holden connected at a 65 percent shooting clip with five starts.
