DAYTON- The Wright State women's basketball rolled to an 88-50 win over IU East Saturday afternoon in the Nutter Center.

Wright State (4-2) will hit the road for its next three games, starting with a matchup against Ohio on Monday, November 24. Tip-off in Athens is slated for 7 p.m. Next, Wright State will travel to Boca Raton to participate in the Thanksgiving Classic, taking on host Florida Atlantic on November 28 and Air Force on November 29. Both games are scheduled to tip off at 1 p.m.

Four Raiders scored double-digit points on Saturday, led by
Olivia Brown's 12 points, followed by
Chloe Chard Peloquin and
Ellie Magestro-Kennedy with 11, and
Rylee Sagester with 10. Brown's 12 points mark a new career high for her, passing her previous high of eight against Youngstown State last season.
Grace Okih and
Elaina Rager tied for the team high in rebounds, snagging seven apiece.
Breezie Williams dished out a new season high five assists to lead the Raiders. All 12 available Raiders saw action on the court, with 11 of them finding their way onto the score sheet.

Wright State held the lead for 37:46 of the possible 40 minutes in this one, with IU East holding the lead for only 16 seconds.

The Raiders held a 41-20 lead going into the locker room at halftime. Sagester led all players in points at the break with eight, shooting a perfect 3/3 from the floor and 2/2 from behind the three-point line.

Wright State extended its lead in the second half, outscoring the Red Wolves by 17 in the last 20 minutes. The Raiders knocked down 13 of their 14 free throw attempts in the second half to seal the game and keep it out of reach.

In the box score, the Raiders led in points in the paint 34-26, second chance points 21-10, fast break points 10-0, and bench points 47-6. Wright State out-rebounded IU East 41-35, and improve to 2-1 when they win, they out-rebound their opponents.
