Track & Field back in action on Friday and Saturday

DAYTON – The Wright State men's and women's track and field programs return to action at a pair of sites this weekend, with small contingents of Raiders at Friday's GVSU Big Meet and another group of Raiders competing Friday and Saturday at the Doug Raymond Invitational.

Wright State will have 16 Raiders competing on Friday in Michigan at the GVSU Big Meet, with action starting prior to 9 a.m. and running through the afternoon and into the evening.

Andrew Bugner, Meredith Goecke, Nicholas Hoelscher, Gavin Hutchinson, Matthew Lee, Cierra Lively, Alex McCarty, Evan McPherson, Ethan Neblock, Bryce Page, Reece Page, Ian Ricker, Blake Rodgers, Ben Schrumpf, Patrick Statzer and Jayden Thompson are all slated to be in action for the Raiders in Michigan.

The second set of Raiders will compete on Friday and Saturday in northeastern Ohio at the Doug Raymond Invitational, with action getting underway Friday at 3 p.m. for a couple hours of competition before restarting Saturday morning at 11 a.m. and running through the afternoon.

Emma Johnson, Brooklyn Salyers and Nathan Sheriff are slated to compete on Friday, with Anna Johnson, Emma Johnson, Mia Wyngarden and Salyers competing on Saturday.

Following this weekend's action, Wright State will be back to competition on February 22 at the Wittenberg Invitational, its final tuneup before the Horizon League Indoor Championships in Fort Wayne March 1 and 2.
