Track & Field heads to 2026 Horizon League Outdoor Championships

DAYTON — The Wright State track and field programs will be in action over three days this weekend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as the Raiders travel to Rochester, Michigan for the 2026 Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Oakland.

Competition is set to start at noon on Friday with Decathlon action and opening field events before the opening running events kick off at 7:20 p.m. Saturday's full slate gets underway at 9 a.m. with the Decathlon, continuing at noon with field events and a full afternoon on the track beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday's action gets started at 10 a.m. with field events before an afternoon full of track event finals kicking off at noon and going through the afternoon.

The Wright State men finished eighth overall last season at the 2025 Championships, with the Raider women finishing seventh.

Wright State is set to have 51 total athletes competing – 26 women and 25 men – over the three days of action.
