DAYTON – The Wright State men's and women's track and field programs return to action at the Gem City Invitational on Saturday in Springfield, Ohio, while select Raider men will participate in distance events at the Jud Logan Light Giver Open on Friday in Ashland.

The Raiders will have two distance medley relay teams competing on Friday at Ashland University, with that race expected to get underway around 3:20 p.m. Patrick Statzer, Gavin Hutchinson, Nicholas Hoelscher and Alex McCarty will make up one pairing, while Andrew Bugner, Aiden Clendenin, Logan Eggert and Evan McPherson will be the second Raider group in the race.

Wright State will see the majority of its roster competing on Saturday at the Gem City Invitational over on the Wittenberg campus at the Steemer Center. Saturday action gets underway with both track events and field events beginning at 2 p.m., with action running through the evening.

Following this weekend's action, the Raiders will again split up for competition, sending select athletes to the Grand Valley State Big Meet on Friday, as well as having athletes at the Doug Raymond Invitational at Kent State.
