Men's Basketball No. 8 seed in 2025 Barbasol HL Championship; hosts IU Indy Tuesday

INDIANAPOLIS/DAYTON – The Wright State men's basketball team will be the No. 8 seed for the 2025 Barbasol Horizon League Championship that begins next week, the League announced late Saturday night. The Raiders will host IU Indy on Tuesday night in an 8 p.m. tipoff inside the Nutter Center.

The Raiders (14-17) will face No. 9 IU Indy at the Nutter Center in first round action on Tuesday, with the broadcast on ESPN+ and on the Wright State Radio Network. A win Tuesday night will advance Wright State to a quarterfinal matchup on the road Thursday night.
Raider season ticket holders can log into their online account to pay for their tickets now. The deadline to purchase before season ticket holder seat locations are opened to the general public will be Monday, March 3.
Wright State split the regular season meetings with IU Indy, with the Raiders winning at home in early February and IU Indy taking the rematch on Saturday afternoon in Indianapolis to close the regular season.
Tuesday's first-round action also includes No. 6 Oakland hosting No. 11 Green Bay and No. 7 Northern Kentucky hosting 10th-seeded Detroit Mercy.
No. 1-seeded Robert Morris, No. 2 Cleveland State and No. 3 Milwaukee await their quarterfinal opponents. Fourth-seeded Youngstown State and fifth-seeded Purdue Fort Wayne also have first round byes and will play each other in Youngstown on Thursday night. Quarterfinal round winners will advance to Indianapolis for the semifinals on March 10 and the championship on March 11.
