Raider Track set for competition at three sites this weekend

DAYTON – Members of the Wright State track & field programs return to action this weekend, with select individuals competing across three meets on Friday and Saturday.

Wright State will have three athletes competing at the Duke Invitational, with Cierra Lively taking part in the women's high jump Friday morning at 11 a.m. and Lylla Kovacs in the women's 100m hurdles at 3:45 p.m. Friday afternoon. Meredith Goecke taking part in the women's pole vault at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The Raiders will have 11 athletes competing in distance events on Saturday at the Bison Outdoor Classic, hosted by Bucknell, with the first Wright State athlete competing at 12:45 p.m. with various events through the afternoon and into the evening.

The Raiders' largest contingent will be in Kentucky at the NKU Invitational on Saturday, with over 50 Raiders competing. Action at the NKU Invitational will get underway at 11:30 a.m. and go through the afternoon.

Following this weekend's competitions, the Raiders will again split up next week for competition at the Otterbein Twilight next Friday, April 18 and at the Tiffin Track Carnival next Saturday, April 19.
