DAYTON – Wright State women's basketball head coach
Kari Hoffman has announced the addition of
Olivia Trice to the Raiders' staff as an assistant coach and director of operations.
Trice brings five years of NCAA Division I playing experience, spending two seasons at Bowling Green State University (2019–21) and three seasons at Florida International University (2021–24). Her collegiate career included a WNIT appearance with Bowling Green.
She appeared in 139 career games with 43 starts and was known for her consistency, three-point shooting, and leadership both on and off the court. During her final collegiate season, Trice averaged 6.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game while earning Conference USA All-Academic Team honors. She recorded a career-high 21 points against Jacksonville and went 5-for-6 from beyond the arc in a standout performance versus UTEP.
A Dayton-area native, Trice played high school basketball at Wayne High School under her father, longtime head coach Travis Trice, and was a three-time All-Greater Western Ohio Conference selection.
Basketball runs deep in the Trice family—her father, Travis Trice, currently serves as the associate head coach for the Wright State men's basketball team, while her older brothers, Travis and D'Mitrik, each had standout collegiate careers and have gone on to play professionally.
Trice earned a bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from FIU in 2023, followed by a master's degree in Mass Communications in 2024.
