Women’s Basketball to Host Robert Morris Saturday Afternoon

DAYTON- The Wright State women's basketball team (6-14, 2-7 HL) is set to wrap up its three-game home stand Saturday afternoon against Robert Morris. Tip-off is slated for 3:30 p.m. and will be 30 minutes after the Wright State men's basketball game, scheduled for 1 p.m.
Saturday's contest was originally slated for Sunday but was moved up a day after consultation with school and league officials following updated inclement weather models predicted across the region this weekend.
Saturday's women's contest will now be free admission for all fans. All game tickets previously sold for Sunday can be exchanged for any future Wright State women's basketball home game. Fans can contact the Wright State Athletic ticket office (937-775-4934 or raidertix@wright.edu) to switch their tickets to a future game.

SCOUTING THE COLONIALS
Robert Morris enters the Nutter Center at 13-6 on the season and has a 6-4 mark in Horizon League play. The Colonials currently sit tied for third in the Horizon League standings with Youngstown State. Robert Morris has alternated wins and losses over their last nine games, with five wins and four losses across that stretch. Last time out, the Colonials defeated Youngstown State at home on Wednesday night.
Senior Aislin Malcolm leads the colonials in scoring with 12.8 points per game. Joining Malcolm in double figures is Myriam Traore with 10.2 points per game. Traore leads the team and is third in the Horizon League with 1.1 blocks per game. The sophomore is also second on the team in rebounding, hauling in 5.1 rebounds per game. Forward Eva Levingston leads the team in rebounding with 6.3 rebounds per game while also averaging 8.3 points.

Saturday's contest will mark the 16th all-time meeting between Wright State and Robert Morris, a series in which the Raiders trail 6-9. The Colonials swept the series a season ago, winning on their home court in January and at the Nutter Center in early March. Through the last 10 games, the Raiders are 3-7 against the Colonials.

The Raiders fell to the Northern Kentucky Norse on Saturday afternoon, 56-82.
Breezie Williams led four Raiders in double figures with 14 points on the day. Joining Williams in double digits were Lauren Scott and Maja Dilen with 11points, and Ellie Magestro-Kennedy with 10 points. Dilen's 11 points tie a career-high for her, which she set against Youngstown State on Wednesday. Williams was tied with Grace Okih for the team high in rebounds with seven apiece. Olivia Brown led the team with five assists.
Wright State started the game hot, building up to an 11-point lead with 5:55 remaining in the second quarter. The Norse would counter-punch with a 15-2 run of their own. Williams would hit a three-pointer with less than two seconds of the clock to give the Raiders a one-point advantage as the team went into the locker rooms for halftime.
Northern Kentucky would take over the game in the second half, outscoring the Raiders by 14 points in the third quarter and 13 points in the fourth quarter to close out a 26 point road win.
Taysha Rushton led Northern Kentucky with 17 points. Joining her in double digits was Karina Bystry with 15, Abby Wolterman with 14, Maddie Moody with 11, and Mia Jordan with 10.

The Canton, Ohio, native is shooting 39.1% from the floor and 31.1% from three-point range. The senior is also getting it done on the defensive end of the floor, averaging 2.2 steals per game. Williams currently ranks ninth in the Horizon League in points per game (12.6) and third in steals per game (2.2). Last Saturday, Williams joined the 1,000 career-point club, scoring her 1,00th point on a layup with 42 seconds remaining in the first quarter. The Bryant transfer had a breakout performance on the road at Tennessee State, dropping a new career-high 27 points with three assists, three rebounds, and two blocks. She followed up her career night in Nashville with a 20-point performance against Wilberforce in just 14 minutes of action. Williams also finished one rebound and one steal short of a triple-double at Florida Atlantic, finishing with a career-high nine steals and a season-high nine rebounds. Wright State's Ellie Magestro-Kennedy has turned in four straight double-digit scoring performances against IU Indy (13), Youngstown State (17), Northern Kentucky (10), and highlighted by a career-high 18 at Cleveland State. To go along with the scoring, Magestro-Kennedy has seen her role increase, playing 20+ minutes in four straight games and 30+ in her last two games that saw her in the starting lineup.
The redshirt sophomore was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes five years ago. Daily, she is required to check blood glucose (sugar) levels, administer and adjust insulin dosages, and calculate meal carbohydrates (regular and pre- and post-workout/practice/games).
CLAIRE CRASHING THE BOARDS
Claire Henson has been active in the paint for the Raiders, snagging 127 rebounds so far this season. Henson is fifth in the Horizon League with 6.7 rebounds per game.
Henson also has a team high of three double-doubles. The senior has recorded double-doubles against Bellarmine (13 pts. and 12 reb.), Ohio (17 pts. and 15 reb. (career-high)), and Oakland (17 pts. and 10 reb.). Fellow senior Chloe Chard Peloquin recorded the only other double-double for the Raiders in the season opener against Butler (15 pts. and 11 rebs.).
RYLEE FROM RANGE
Redshirt sophomore guard Rylee Sagester is not only one of the best three-point shooters in the Horizon League but is one of the best in the country. The Alexandria, Ohio native is shooting a stellar 38.1% from beyond the arc, which is a team best. Sagester's 37 three-pointers place her fourth in the Horizon League standings. Sagester has made more than one three-pointer in 11 of the Raiders' 20 games, highlighted by a pair of games with five made threes against Wilberforce and Bellarmine.

The Raiders set a new program best for points scored in a single game with 122 points. Their first time eclipsing 100 points since November 10, 2017, against Northwestern (OH).
