Raidergang Announces 2026 Schedule

DAYTON- The Wright State baseball team and head coach Alex Sogard have announced the 2026 schedule. The 2026 slate features 23 home games at Nischwitz Stadium and matchups against several in-state opponents throughout the season.

The Raiders open their 2026 campaign on the road with a pair of three-game sets first at Georgia (Feb. 13-15) before heading over to Charlotte (Feb. 20-22). The home opener is scheduled for February 25, a midweek matchup with in-state rival Kent State. Wright State will hit the road again to close out the month of February at Campbell (Feb. 27-March 1). The Raiders will return home to kick off the 16th annual Joe Nuxhall Classic against Miami (OH) on March 3.

Following a three-game set against Tennessee (March 6-8), Wright State will travel to a midweek matchup against Indiana on March 10. The Raiders will host their first home series of the year against SEMO (March 13-15) before a midweek return trip to Kent State on March 17. Wright State will kick off Horizon League play on the road, traveling to Milwaukee (March 20-22).

Wright State will return home to Nischwitz Stadium for a midweek matchup with Ohio State on March 24. The Raidergang will then get back-to-back home Horizon League series against Oakland (March 27-29) and Northern Kentucky (April 2-4), with a midweek game at Cincinnati (Mar. 31) sandwiched in between.

The Raiders will wrap up the Joe Nuxhall Classic against either Cincinnati or Xavier on April 7 or 8, depending on the first-round results. Wright State will then travel up to Youngstown State for a three-game set (April 10-12) before facing off against Dayton at Day Air Park. The Raidergang will wrap up April with a six-game home stand featuring three-game sets with Indiana State (April 17-19) and Milwaukee (April 24-26) and a midweek game against Cincinnati (April 21).

In May, the Raiders will make return trips to Oakland (May 1-3), Northern Kentucky (May 8-10), and Ohio State (May 12). Dayton will make the trip across town to Nischwitz on May 5. The Raiders close the regular season at home with a three-game set against Youngstown State, May 14-16.

The Horizon League's regular-season winner will host the conference tournament from May 20-23.
