Raiders gain ground on Friday

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA – The Wright State golf team moved up two spots on the team leaderboard in Friday's second round at The Peoples Championship, sitting as part of a logjam in the middle of the pack heading into the final round.

The Raiders will tee off in Saturday's final round beginning at 11:50 a.m. as they look to keep moving up the team standings.

Timmy Hollenbeck continues to pace Wright State individually, sitting tied for 14th at two-under heading into Saturday following his second round two-over 73 that saw him record four birdies to help work around a double bogey on the par five 13th hole. Ian Asch is two-over overall in a tie for 33rd after carding a Saturday 73 of his own that saw three birdies. Shane Ochs is one shot back of Asch at three-over in a tie for 43rd with 18 holes to play after his even par second round 71 with four birdies.

Adam Horn carded a three-over 73 on Saturday, notching three of his four birdies on holes two, three and four as he enters the final round eight-over overall in a tie for 82nd. CJ Scohy and Landon Harris are each 10-over with 18 holes to play as part of a tie for 95th. Scohy notched a five-over 76 on Saturday as he battled through a pair of double bogeys, while Harris, playing as an individual, shot a nine-over 80 in his second round.
