Baseball announces pair of midweek games

DAYTON- The Wright State baseball team has announced the addition of two midweek games against in-state rivals Miami (OH) and Xavier.

Wright State and Xavier will face off on Tuesday, April 7, as part of the annual Joe Nuxhall Classic. First pitch at Prasco Park in Mason is slated for 5 p.m. Following the results of Tuesday's contests, the Raiders will then face off against Cincinnati or Miami (OH) at Prasco Park on Wednesday, April 8.

Wright State has also announced a make-up date against Miami (OH) after their original meeting on March 3 was postponed due to inclement weather. The Raiders and RedHawks will now face off at Nischwitz Stadium on April 29 with a 3 p.m. first pitch. Any tickets purchased for the original March 3 date will be honored, and fans can also purchase tickets here.

The Raidergang will be back in action this weekend to wrap up their 10-game homestand against Oakland. The Raiders and Golden Grizzlies will face off at 3 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. on Saturday, and 1 p.m. on Sunday. Friday's game will be available to stream on ESPN+ with Chris Collins and Bob Grote on the call. Live stats will also be provided for all three games.
